Hitting that deer on my bicycle led to my meeting Thomas Parkhill, the best physical therapist imaginable. The shoulder injury I sustained ultimately led to removal of bone spurs and a rotator cuff repair. However, I worked with Thomas both in “pre-hab” before the surgery and in “rehab” afterwards. The therapy and exercises he instructed me in and supervised have left me with a shoulder better than it was before. As a medical scientist, I appreciated the level of education and information that he provided during therapy. The exercises were easier to do because I understood exactly what each maneuver was supposed to do. In addition, his pleasant personality and style helped to alleviate the pain and anxiety. I would recommend Thomas without reservation to anyone in need of physical therapy.​
